Description
DEVA SOL – 300 is a very high molecular weight HydroxyethylCe111ulose. It has been specially designed to produce clear viscous solution in hot and cold water based fluids with excellent shear thinning and suspending power abilities.
Application
DEVA SOL 300 is effective in all water based fluids, It has been studied to obtain the balanced dispersibility in drilling fluids thus allowing high effectiveness at very low damage. It can be used at any temperature, pH and viscosity of the drilling fluid.

Properties
Viscosity
The apparent viscosity of DEVA SOL- 300 mixed with an aqueous solution increases rapidly with its concentration and irrespective of salinity, DEVA SOL- 300 yields high viscosity.
Shear Thinning
DEVA SOL- 300 provides excellent shear thinning thus ensuring optimum hole cleaning.
Fluid Loss
DEVA SOL- 300 possesses very good fluid loss control in suspended solids, oil soluble resins acid soluble agents.
Compatibility
DEVA SOL- 300 is non – iconic and hence a compatible polymer for work over/completion fluids and brines for oil industry.
Formation Damage
DEVA SOL- 300 has very low insoluble content and hence it avoids damage to formation.
Friction Reduction
DEVA SOL- 300 being a high molecular weight water soluble polymer; it reduces friction of fluids significantly during work over/ completion operations.
PH Stability
DEVA SOL- 300 maintains its viscosity in PH varying between 6 and 10 and its viscosity drops only in a highly acidic solution with a PH of 3 and below due to acid hydrolysis

Safety Precautions
DEVA SOL-300 when dispersed in air, is highly inflammable. Hence care should be taken to minimize dust formation and complete avoidance of all avenues of ignition is mandatory. Spillage of DEVA SOL-300 should be cleaned mechanically as flooring can become slippery if it is subjected to water. We recommend users to wear masks in case they have a history of respiratory problems.
