Description

DEVABIO - 204 is an aqueous solution of glutaraldehyde and other surface active agents designed to control anaerobic sulphate reducing bacteria in all oilfield applications.

Application

DEVABIO – 204 should be used initially as a slug treatment up to 2500ppm in order to condition the system, then the continuous feed concentration may be lowered to about 15ppm – 25ppm depending upon the system bioload and treatment response. Batch treatment with 150ppm to 250ppm in water injection system for 6 hours once per week is normal practice.

DEVABIO – 204 is packed in 200 liter non- returnable drums.
Customers are urged to ensure that the products are entirely suitable for their own purposes. Deva Drill Tech can frequently help in these technical decisions, if required.

Laboratory test must be carried out prior to the commencement of field application.

Handling & Safety

DEVABIO – 204 is irritating to skin and eyes.

For eye contact – Immediately irrigate with copious quantities of water for at least 15 minutes.

For skin contact – Immediately wash off affected area with plenty of soap & water.

Do not expose to extreme heat of fire.

Wear overalls, rubber gloves, rubber aprons, chemical workers goggles or face mask. If handling the product indoors maintain adequate ventilation.

Try and avoid excessive inhalation of vapors.
